Writing about word counts
With a novel draft to finish and all this talk of NaNoWriMo, I’ve been thinking a lot about word counts this week.
Earlier in the year, I read Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts. I don’t normally read such long books. I don’t think I could ever write such a long book. But I couldn’t help but be impressed by this 900 plus page epic and it’s my inspiration for this week’s writing about writing topic.
Writing about writing, Week #5
What’s the longest piece you’ve written? How much time did you spend on it? Would you want to write something longer in the future?
