Just a short note for UK readers to say that, according to the Man Booker Prize website, the 2007 will be announced live on BBC news just after 10.20pm (GMT).  The boy and I don’t normally turn on our television set, but I’ll be watching tonight.

For international readers, the news will be announced at the same time on the Man Booker Prize website.  The site – and particularly the reader’s comments in the Debate section – are worth a visit no matter where you’re from.  To find out the current time in London, check out this page on worldtimeserver.com.
